Belgrade School of Geopolitics – What Is Geopolitics (Really)?

The first lecture within the Belgrade School of Geopolitics was successfully held by the Center for Geopolitical Research (CeGI), officially marking the beginning of the first lecture cycle. The opening lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Milomir Stepić, who, through the topic "What Is Geopolitics (Really)?", introduced participants to the basic concepts, significance, and role of geopolitics in understanding contemporary international relations and global processes. Through an interactive lecture and discussion, participants had the opportunity to become acquainted with the essence of geopolitics, its theoretical and conceptual foundations, and the importance of the geopolitical approach in interpreting contemporary international relations. The Belgrade School of Geopolitics brings together undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students interested in deepening their knowledge in the fields of geopolitics, international relations, and strategic studies.
