Prof. Dr. Milomir Stepić Delivers Lecture at the Institute for Strategic Research

UNIPOLARITY: A "MOMENT," NOT AN "ORDER"

On Monday, 29 June 2026, Prof. Dr. Milomir Stepić, Director of the Center for Geopolitical Studies in Belgrade, delivered a guest lecture at the Institute for Strategic Research of the University of Defence. The title of the lecture was UNIPOLARITY: A "MOMENT," NOT AN "ORDER." During the lecture, Prof. Stepić spoke about the phenomenon of the polar structure of the world order, the geopolitical foundations of U.S. supremacy, the missed American opportunity to capitalize in the long term on its victory in the Cold War, the relatively short transitional period, the process of multipolarization, the prospects for global geopolitical relations, and other related issues. The lecture was attended by senior officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and researchers from the Institute for Strategic Research, who actively participated by asking questions and engaging in discussion on the issues presented during the lecture.
